Aprio and ATLAST: Redefining Global Client Service Through Collaboration

June 13, 2025

As part of our International Spotlight series, we sat down with Yelena Epova, Managing Partner of our Atlanta Office and the leader of our International Services practice, to discuss an exciting new initiative co-founded by Aprio.

ATLAST is a new collective for progressive accounting firms looking to go from growth to scale. Designed for firms that are united by vision and values — not just geography — ATLAST is reshaping the way professional services firms collaborate and serve multinational clients.

The collective’s founding members — Aprio (US), Cooper Parry (UK), Ilv Silver (Spain), Rosenblum-Holtzman & Co (Israel), and BSC Advisors (India) — are recognized not only as leaders within their local markets, but as visionaries in the global accounting profession.

“What sets ATLAST apart is its bold purpose,” says Epova. “As founding members, we came together to build a resource that offers tangible value for peer firms and their clients. It’s not just another professional network. ATLAST is a movement built by and for firms that are future-focused and driven to grow through strategic collaboration.”

A shared mindset, a global vision

When conceptualizing ATLAST, the co-founding firms developed a charter to help distinguish the characteristics that set the collective apart from other networks. Member firms are alike in that they:

  • Are recognized as leaders of change within their markets.
  • Employ top talent and empower them with best-in-practice processes and technologies.
  • Collaborate openly, sharing knowledge to go further, faster.
  • Partner with clients with multimarket needs, helping them exceed expectations.
  • Embrace their roles as visionaries, breaking industry norms to create value.
  • Proactively connect with like-minded leaders to create new growth opportunities.

These principles strongly align with Aprio’s own approach to serving multinational clients. ATLAST creates open access to nearly 80 countries, helping clients do business locally while scaling globally with support every step of the way.

“ATLAST was created to be a different kind of collective, one where firms don’t just gather for networking, but for purposeful growth,” says Epova. “It’s about collaboration, not competition — and it’s about creating real value for the firms and clients we serve.”

A strong debut in Atlanta

Aprio recently hosted the first-ever ATLAST gathering in Atlanta, bringing together founding firms and their clients for a multi-day event focused on global expansion. The event featured country-specific sessions and an interactive “Client Day” with panels on pressing international business issues like customs and tariffs, foreign investment, and cross-border strategy.

What made the event so well-received? Clients were at the center of it.

“We want clients to have access to this network and to meet advisors from across the globe, ask questions, and get ahead of challenges,” says Epova. “These events are designed to be substantive and meaningful.”

Looking ahead

The ATLAST collective is committed to hosting thoughtfully curated gatherings at least once per year, with additional regional or industry-based meetups based on member needs. Every initiative is designed with intention and aligned to the ATLAST belief that collaboration is the future of the profession.

For Aprio, ATLAST is more than a network. It’s an extension of our vision: to empower clients and firms alike to go beyond borders and scale with confidence.
