Meet Monja Bastan, CPA

As a Senior Manager on Aprio’s International Business Services team, Monja specializes in helping German clients navigate U.S. international taxation with a focus on the manufacturing industry. She also helps high-net-worth individuals, corporations, and flow-through entities plan for growth with smart tax strategies. From structuring legal entities to pre-immigration planning, Monja makes complex issues easier to understand and manage. Originally from Germany and fluent in German, Monja brings both cultural insight and valuable technical knowledge to every client engagement.

Meet Eckart Nuernberger

With more than 25 years of international tax experience, Eckart has guided countless German-owned businesses on their journeys to establish and grow their operations and market share in the U.S. He provides his clients with global tax planning, transfer pricing, and structuring strategies that support their long-term growth and success. Known for his ability to bridge business cultures, Eckart helps clients see the big picture while tackling the details that matter most to them.

As a native German speaker, Eckart previously served as Senior Counsel with other international accounting firms, where he advised companies on U.S. inbound investments with a focus on cross-border tax matters. He is also licensed in Germany as both a lawyer and a tax advisor.
