
Overview
Jae has over 15 years of experience providing assurance* and foreign direct investment advisory services for clients across various industries, with a focus on international manufacturing, distribution, energy, trade, and technology companies. He works closely with CEOs, CFOs, and managers of multinational companies and foreign-owned subsidiaries in the United States that need accurate financials and advisory assistance to report back to their parent companies.
Experience
Jae specializes in advising Korean-speaking clients on business strategy and insights into achieving success in the U.S. and in South Korea. Jae has deep experience with US GAAP and IFRS financial reporting, internal control optimization for publicly traded companies for J-SOX and K-SOX, tariff analysis and review for U.S. subsidiaries, global accounting systems implementation, strategic business advisory, economic development project management, and cross-border investments. He has various experiences working with Fortune 500 companies and helps his clients solve cross-border transaction issues, bridging international relationships and providing assurance to investors in multifaceted cultural environment.
Education & Affiliations
Jae earned a Master of Science in Accounting from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Butler University’s Lacy School of Business. He also attended the Chinese University of Hong Kong as part of an international exchange program. Jae is the President and a board member of the Southeast U.S. Korean Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Council of Korean Americans, and the Vice President of community relations of the Ascend Leadership – Atlanta.
