FFATA Reporting Requirements

FFATA (Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act) reporting is required by all prime awardees that enter into subawards for $25,000 or greater. The purpose of this reporting is to provide a single searchable website that contains information on all Federal awards. All reports should be submitted through the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act Subaward Reporting System (FSRS).

Reporting of the following is required by the end of the month following the month that the prime recipient awards the subaward that is equal to or greater than $25,000:

1. Name of the entity receiving the award
2. Amount of the award
3. Funding agency
4. CFDA program number
5. Program source
6. Award title that describes the purpose of the award
7. Location of the entity
8. Place of performance
9. Unique identifier of the entity
10. Total compensation and names of top five executives if
11. The entity had more than 80% of annual gross revenues from the Federal government and the revenues exceed $25 million annually
12. Compensation information is not already available through SEC reporting

Note: If the initial award is less than $25,000 then reporting will need to be done once subsequent modifications bring the total award to $25,000 or greater. If funding is de-obligated bringing funding down below $25,000, the award is still subject to reporting.
