Who I work with
I bring over 20 years of accounting, auditing, and tax experience to the firm. Prior to joining Aprio, I had the privilege of being the first female Managing Partner at Kirsch Kohn Bridge. Throughout my career, I have always enjoyed forming close relationships with clients and gaining their trust and respect. It is extremely rewarding to be part of their growth and success.
I bring my experience as an auditor with a “Big Four” accounting firm, and a foreign exchange trader with a multinational bank to provide strategies and solutions that address small and middle-market clients’ tax challenges and financial matters.
My specialty
I apply astute leadership, sound judgement and strategic decision-making skills to audits, reviews, and compilations, employee benefits, pension, and profit-sharing plans, internal controls analysis and structuring, tax planning, corporate and individual tax, closely held/middle market business advisory services, mergers and acquisitions, and succession planning.
Unique things about me
I am an advocate of investing in leading-edge technology and promote its use in all capacities and engagements. Beyond technology, I am passionate about electric driving and sustainability. Through my involvement as a board member at Plug In America, we work to accelerate the adoption of sustainable transportation solutions through education, advocacy, and research.
When I am not at work
I enjoy spending quality time with my family and exploring new cultures and culinary adventures through travel.
Affiliations
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accountancy from the University of the Philippines and am a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of California. I am also a member of The California Society of CPAs (CalCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). I am also a Board member and an Audit Committee Chair for Plug In America.
