
Overview
Sandi Buttram is a partner within the Tax practice at Aprio. She has more than 19 years of experience providing tax services in a variety of industries, with a primary focus on the real estate industry. Sandi regularly helps real estate developers, property managers, homebuilders, real estate funds, and real estate investment trusts address complex tax issues and minimize their tax liabilities.
Experience
In addition to her industry expertise, Sandi has extensive experience working with partnerships, including navigating complex waterfall provisions, assisting with domestic and foreign tax withholding requirements, and providing services for multi-state apportionment and state filing requirements.
Education & Affiliations
Sandi received both a BBA degree in Accounting and a Master’s of Accounting with a concentration in Tax from the University of Georgia. She is professionally affiliated with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. Within the Georgia Society, she has been a member of the Real Estate Conference Task Force Team from 2012-2022, serving as vice-chair in 2014 and chair in 2015, and was a member of the Leadership Council from 2021-2022. Sandi also serves as the Chair of the Finance Committee on the Board of Trustees of the Chattahoochee Nature Center.
