Sam Tuck devoted his entire career to Aprio and to the clients he was honored to serve. Over more than 30 years, he built Aprio’s Tax Practice into what it is today, earning the deep respect of team members, peers, and clients alike, many of whom were proud to call him a friend. Sam was known not only for his exceptional talent, but for the warmth, generosity, and genuine care he brought to every relationship. He was a beloved partner and an irreplaceable part of Aprio. Sam is deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside him. He is survived by his wife, Allyson his daughter, Leah, and his son, Nolan.

Overview
Sam was a partner in the Tax Services group at Aprio. He had more than 25 years of experience providing tax services to mid-size and large businesses. Sam had extensive experience in corporate and individual tax matters and had developed expertise in closely-held companies and limited liability companies. He also worked with several real estate clients.
Experience
Over his career, Sam was involved in a number of complex transactions, including business combinations, business acquisitions, and tax-free exchanges. Sam also represented clients being examined by government agencies. Sam frequently worked with clients to minimize federal and state taxes.
Sam serviced lawyers, doctors, and business owners with a variety of tax and business issues. He also consulted with law firms on compensation matters.
Education & Affiliations
Sam earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia and a Master of Taxation from Georgia State University. His professional and community affiliations included the following:
